Title: "Cab" Calloway
Abstract: "Cab" Calloway began his meteoric rise in the world of music in Baltimore. Inspired by Chick Webb, Calloway put together his own band, playing Dixieland and hot jazz at a restaurant at Gay and Baltimore streets.
