Description
Description from Mapping Maryland: "This is an example of a hydrographic chart which features little information on coastal area except for town names. Van Keulen produced a sea atlas, De Goote Nieuwe Zee-Atlas, which incorporated a series of American coastal maps, works freely copied by later map-makers. The van Keulens were the premier publishers of nautical works in the late seventeenth century."
