Description from Mapping Maryland: "Bennett (d. 1787) joined with Sayer (1725-94) to form a London publishing house in 1770. One of their works, the "American Military Pocket Atlas", was intended as a field reference guide for British military officers during the Revolutionary War. This map is one of six featured in the Atlas".
