Stroke is a leading cause of adult disability. Dehydration at the time of stroke is associated with worse clinical outcomes. We sought to understand the relationship between dehydration and clinical outcome after medical and surgical acute stroke therapies. We additionally tested the feasibility of a novel technology to objectively measure dehydration.
