Abstract
Dr. Marijane Peplow S’52, a professor of International Law, described the experience of being amongst the first women to attend SAIS. She particularly recalls working on a project about the role of women at the school in the 1950s. Her extensive career has afforded her opportunities to travel around the globe, expanding her passion and appreciation for other cultures. Her advice for today’s students is to recognize the importance of treating everyone as a human being.
